Six Bridges Book Festival: Madeline Taylor / Hannah Whitten
Moderated by Cat Vaughter
Saturday, October 03
10:00am - 11:00am
Six Bridges Book Festival presents Madeline Taylor (Heir of Illusion) and Hannah Whitten (Reliquary). Moderated by Cat Vaughter.
Madeline Taylor
Madeline Taylor is a fantasy romance author with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. She loves to escape reality whenever possible, so reading and writing are great outlets for her. Her other notable hobbies include maladaptive daydreaming, listening to Taylor Swift, and being bossed around by a senile pug.
Heir of Illusion is an alliance between enemies. A weapon of untold power. And a bond that could rewrite fate. A fae assassin with the power of illusion, sworn to a king she despises. An enigmatic grim reaper, searching for freedom. Enemies collide in an unlikely alliance, brimming with desire and destruction.
Hannah Whitten
Hannah Whitten has been writing to amuse herself since she could hold a pen. Sometime in high school, she figured out that what amused her might also amuse others. Her books have been international bestsellers and translated into multiple languages. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, watching horror movies, or chasing her feral children.
Reliquary is the story of Claire, a woman set adrift by the loss of her temperamental fiancé. When his wealthy estranged family invites her to a wake on their private island estate, Harrow Point, Claire sees it as an opportunity to finally find the belonging she’s always wanted. But something old and hungry is waiting in Harrow Point, and belonging comes with a price.
