Jess Gutierrez
Jess Gutierrez is a speaker and former journalist whose work has been published in the Northwest Arkansas Times, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Siloam Springs Herald Leader, and Fayetteville Free Weekly and who has earned awards from the Arkansas Press Association. She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her firefighter wife who is way cooler than she is, their three wild kids, a surly bulldog named Hank, and some kittens, rabbits, and chickens.
Adulting for Amateurs is a rowdy and hilarious collection of essays on life as an elder Millennial, filled with life lessons on everything from marriage to parenting to rolling with the punches when Gen Z mocks your TikTok dances.
ASL interpretation will be provided for all Six Bridges sessions held in CALS Ron Robinson Theater. ASL interpretation for sessions at other CALS locations and Six Bridges venues (including CALS Main Library) will be provided by request. To request ASL interpretation, please submit an ASL Interpretation Request form.
