Dip into the growing world of artificial intelligence. We'll talk about what it is, how it works, and the conversations surrounding it. Then, we'll discuss how to use AI tools in your everyday life.
You've probably heard a lot about AI. Some people think it's groundbreaking technology that will change all of our lives forever. Some think it might be a disaster waiting to happen. Some think both might be true!
But in this class, we'll cut through the fear and the hype to give you a realistic view of what AI can (and can't) do, why it matters, and how you can use AI tools (if you want) to make your life better!
This is a hybrid technology class—it will be offered in-person in the Hatcher Agency Computer Classroom on the lower level of Main Library and online as a Zoom webinar. Registration is encouraged if attending in-person; it's required if attending online.
