Ron Robinson TheaterHere's Johnny!
Stanley Kubrick's The Shining returns to the big screen for a night of psychological horror, eerie atmosphere, and images that have haunted moviegoers for decades. Jack Nicholson stars as Jack Torrance, a writer who accepts a winter caretaker job at the isolated Overlook Hotel, bringing his wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall) and son Danny (Danny Lloyd) along. As the snow piles up and the hotel reveals its dark secrets, Jack's grip on reality begins to unravel. Based on Stephen King's novel, Kubrick's meticulously crafted film transforms isolation, family tension, and supernatural menace into one of the most discussed and influential horror films ever made. From the hotel's endless corridors to the unsettling visions that lurk around every corner, The Shining is a film whose atmosphere demands to be experienced in a dark theater. All work and no play makes for a perfect movie night.
