12:00pm - 2:00pm
Main Library
506 | Production StudioLearn to make your podcasts and content sound great! Explore the differences between common types of mics; how to connect and use an audio interface; and how to record clean, clear audio on a computer using simple software. No experience required.
Maybe it looks good—but does it sound good? Bad audio can ruin your otherwise great podcast or video content. How can you maximize your sound quality?
In this class, we'll take a close look at many of the types of microphones used in production, and talk about how to choose the right one for you. Then, we'll talk about audio interfaces, which can be used to record audio content directly into your computer from any mic. And finally, we'll put it all together and talk about how to record high-quality audio on your computer.
