504 | Adult Programming RoomStep back in time and become a paleontologist for the day! In this hands-on workshop, patrons will create their own fossil casts using molding clay and fossil replicas. Learn how fossils form and take home your very own prehistoric creation.
Travel millions of years into the past in this interactive Fossil Casting Workshop! Patrons will explore how fossils are formed and why they are important for understanding life on Earth. Using safe, easy-to-handle materials, patrons will create their own fossil casts by pressing replica fossils into molding clay.
As the cast sets, we’ll dive into fun facts about dinosaurs, ancient plants, and prehistoric creatures, discussing how scientists uncover and study fossils. This workshop combines creativity, science, and hands-on learning, making it perfect for curious minds of all ages.
