If you have some computer experience--but want a little more computer confidence--this class explores managing files, copy and paste, cords and cables, and more.


You may know the essentials of using a computer—how to turn it on, how to use the mouse and keyboard, and how to check your email. But for many people, that's where it stops. If you want to feel more confident using a computer, Basic Computing is for you. This class explores computer fundamentals like:

    • What the connectors on a computer are for
    • How to copy and paste
    • Common computer programs and file types
    • Managing the files and documents on your computer

    This is a hybrid technology class—it will be offered in-person in the Hatcher Agency Computer Classroom on the lower level of Main Library and online as a Zoom webinar. Registration is encouraged if attending in-person; it's required if attending online.
