CALS Brooks Library's annual Back to School supplies party will be the focus of our July 3rd Tuesday Art Night, 4:30 to 6:30 PM (while supplies last!) with some special art supplies available in honor of our SUMMER@CALS "Color Our World" theme.
CALS Brooks Library hosts an annual Back to School Supply part each summer as we near the end of Summer @ CALS. This year's back to school distribution will be from 4:30 to 6:30 (while supplies last!) with essentials from area schools supply list plus a few extra art supplies in honor of our Summer at CALS 2025 theme: Color Our World. CALS Brooks Library is regularly open 9:30 to 4:30, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with extended hours from 4:30 to 7PM on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. On our 3rd Tuesdays, free art activities are available from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, in addition to our regular library services.

CALS Brooks Library is located in the City of Wrightsville Community Center in between the City Hall and the Gymnasium. This library branch is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 to 4:30 PM. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month the library stays open until 7PM and hosts an art night with free art supplies for patrons to express their creativity. A Potluck Food Rescue Distribution is held each Tuesday morning at 9:30 am while quantities last. A Be Mighty Food Pantry is located inside the library and a Little Free Pantry is located in the Wrightsville Community Center Park Lot. The Millie Brooks Library Community Garden is located in the city park behind the Community Center. The library has 4 Internet Stations for public use, free wifi, and offers copying, printing, scanning and faxing services. One study room is available for public use on a first come first serve basis. Table Top Games, an early childhood playroom, and a Video Game Room are available during regular library hours.
