With the help of the Magician's Handbook, the kids guide Tommy Terrific through a magical adventure where the world of dinosaurs come alive in wacky and unexpected ways. 

For Summer Reading in 2026, Tommy Terrific will be presenting "A Magical Dinosaur Dig".  This magic show will feature a huge Magic Trunk filled with Dinosaur Fossils and Tools for Dinosaur Exploration.  With the help of the Magician's Handbook, the kids guide Tommy Terrific through a magical adventure where the world of dinosaurs come alive in wacky and unexpected ways.  From the T-Rex to the Triceratops and beyond, the kids will uncover exciting facts about Dinosaurs and the Age in which they lived.

CALS welcomes children and families of all ages to use its resources, services, and facilities. Responsibility for children using the library rests with the parent or caregiver. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver over the age of 16 at all times.

About the branch

Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library was expanded in 2001 to serve the growing west Little Rock community. The 19,030-square-feet facility offers patrons thousands of books and audio/visual items for adults and children, enclosed study rooms, and public Internet access. The Terry Library also offers a variety of monthly programs for children and adults.
