At Socrates Café, people explore questions from their lives through public, non-academic dialogue. There are no prerequisites, and no reading or other preparation is required.

At the beginning of each meeting, participants suggest questions, from which the topic question for the evening is determined by popular vote. Adults only. Register for a friendly reminder.

About the branch

Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library was expanded in 2001 to serve the growing west Little Rock community. The 19,030-square-feet facility offers patrons thousands of books and audio/visual items for adults and children, enclosed study rooms, and public Internet access. The Terry Library also offers a variety of monthly programs for children and adults.
