Learn the process of harvesting honey in English or Spanish! This event is in partnership with Calm and Confidence Beekeeping. Please dress appropriately as we will get sticky! All ages are welcome!


Learn step-by-step how honey is harvested from comb to jar! Local beekeepers from Calm and Confidence will guide us through the process and answer any questions you have. The first 50 participants will receive their own sample jar to take home!

¡Aprende paso a paso cómo se cosecha la miel, desde el panal hasta el frasco! Apicultores locales de Calm and Confidence nos guiarán a través del proceso y responderán a todas tus preguntas. ¡Los primeros 50 participantes recibirán su propio frasco de muestra para llevar a casa!

About the branch

Dee Brown Library is nestled in the heart of southwest Little Rock and offers patrons a wide variety of adult and children’s books as well as CDs and DVDs. The 13,500-square-feet library, which opened in 2002, provides access to public study rooms, a meeting room, and an outside deck and boardwalk that lead from Baseline Road to the library.
