For June's 3rd Tuesday Art Night, we will be celebrating JUNETEENTH and Summer @ CALS with the FREEDOM to CREATE free, fun, family-friendly art projects!
3rd Tuesday Art Night is part of CALS Brooks Library extended hours on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The library and its regular services will be open and available until 7pm. PLUS, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, free art supplies are available. For June, we will have Juneteenth inspired projects for finger and hand painting, writing, drawing, and coloring, including free CALS 2025 Arkansas Black History Coloring Books. This is a Summer @ CALS Program for those registered and wanting to check off another activity! Light refreshments provided. A doorprize will be drawn just for this event - must be present to WIN!

CALS Brooks Library is located in the City of Wrightsville Community Center in between the City Hall and the Gymnasium. This library branch is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 to 4:30 PM. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month the library stays open until 7PM and hosts an art night with free art supplies for patrons to express their creativity. A Potluck Food Rescue Distribution is held each Tuesday morning at 9:30 am while quantities last. A Be Mighty Food Pantry is located inside the library and a Little Free Pantry is located in the Wrightsville Community Center Park Lot. The Millie Brooks Library Community Garden is located in the city park behind the Community Center. The library has 4 Internet Stations for public use, free wifi, and offers copying, printing, scanning and faxing services. One study room is available for public use on a first come first serve basis. Table Top Games, an early childhood playroom, and a Video Game Room are available during regular library hours.
