We gather once a week with homeschooled kids in the community and have fun hanging out learning cool stuff. Click to find out what we're doing.
WED 11/04= Science: Blubber Glove Experiment - kids will explore how animals like seals, whales, and polar bears stay warm in freezing environments by creating a "blubber glove" that they will test in icy water.
WED 11/18= Engineering: Thanksgiving Parade Float Challenge - inspired by Balloons Over Broadway, kids will design and create their own miniature parade floats using a variety of craft and recycled materials.
WED 11/25= Math: Fall Escape Room - kids will work together to complete a fall - themed escape room filled with hidden clues, puzzles, codes, and challenges.

Rooker Library
Oley E. Rooker Library is located in the southwestern area of Little Rock. The 13,500 square foot building provides books, audiovisual, and electronic materials for children, teens, and adults, as well as public computers, wireless access, programs for all age groups, and a meeting room.
