It is based off the story of Sybil Ludington who was an American patriot like Paul Revere, who made a midnight ride to warn her fellow Americans that the British were coming.

About the branch

The Max Milam Library is a vital part of the community in Perry County. The 5,000 square-feet library was built in 1993, offers a wide variety of adult and children’s books, DVDs, public computers, and wireless Internet access, as well as a meeting room.
