Tommy Terrific
Come see Magician Tommy Terrific as he performs a "Magical Dinosaur Dig". This magic show will feature a huge Magic Trunk filled with Dinosaur Fossils and Tools for Dinosaur Exploration. With the help of the Magician's Handbook, the kids guide Tommy Terrific through a magical adventure where the world of dinosaurs come alive in wacky and unexpected ways. From the T-Rex to the Triceratops and beyond, the kids will uncover exciting facts about Dinosaurs and the Age in which they lived.
CALS welcomes children and families of all ages to use its resources, services, and facilities. Responsibility for children using the library rests with the parent or caregiver. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver over the age of 16 at all times.

About the branch
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful city of Maumelle, the library is surrounded by Lake Valencia and numerous popular walking trails. The newly renovated building boasts an extensive collection of DVDs, audiobooks, fiction, non-fiction, and bestsellers for all ages. Enjoy the natural setting of our library by checking out our fishing poles for a relaxing day of fishing with the family, or checking out our telescope to view the wonders of the night sky. Book clubs for adults, cooking classes for kids, and storytime for babies are just a few of the many programs offered every month that the entire family can enjoy. For individuals and small groups we provide several study rooms, and if you have a larger group give us a call or stop by to discuss having your next get-together in our meeting room.
