Come and learn hands-on invasive plant identification with CAMN Arkansas Wild Spaces guides and learn to use the tools from the tool library collection to clean up your own yard of invasive species.
We will work on the Southwest Park Trail (near the library and Southwest Community Center) to identify and remove a few common invasive plants and demonstrate the proper us of a 'pullerbear', a root slayer, and a weeding shovel. This event will also teach participants about Little Rock's Parks and Recreations program Pushy Plants. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
If you are a Central Arkansas Master Naturalist looking for volunteer hours please register CE on the CAMN website!
