Hear from local community storytellers and memory keepers, as they share their experiences preserving the places and people that make their communities so special.
Hear from local community storytellers and memory keepers: Angel Burt (Dunbar Historic Neighborhood), Kathy Anderson (Project 365), and Nancy Robinson Lott (Josephine Pankey Community), as they share their experiences preserving the places and people that make their communities so special. Together, we’ll explore why it matters to protect these stories, what we can learn from them today, and how we can all help keep our shared history alive for generations to come. This conversation will be facilitated by Danielle Afsordeh, CALS Butler Center community outreach archivist.
Refreshments will be provided. No registration is required but is recommended to help in planning. Parking is available in the surface lot or the CALS Parking Deck which you can access from Rock Street. Parking will be validated.
