Local organizations will be here to share information and resources for Seniors at this free community health event. Join us for free classes, resources, prizes and food!

Connect with local health organizations and learn more about how to stay healthy as a Senior during this free community event!

Along with our partner organizations sharing health-based information, there will be free giveaways and activities including:

  • Healthy Cooking demonstrations by Be Mighty
  • Emergency Preparedness Classes from UAMS
  • Free Flu Shot Clinic from Baptist Health
  • Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Wellness Checks from Baptist Health
  • A raffle for door prizes for health and wellness items
  • Free lunches for the first 50 attendees
  • Free Tai Chi and Self Defense Classes

About the branch

The Central Arkansas Library System and the City of Sherwood completed construction of the new Amy Sanders Library in early 2018. The new building has 14,500 square feet of space on a heavily wooded 15-acre parcel. The setting of the building is within the existing trees and steep terrain to enhance the uniqueness of the site, bringing the outside in.
