Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning to make beautiful tissue paper flowers with Maria Barrero. Paper flowers are a tradition from Mexico, and are used to decorate for many celebrations, including Dia de los Muertos.
CALS welcomes children and families of all ages to use its resources, services, and facilities. Responsibility for children using the library rests with the parent or caregiver. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver over the age of 16 at all times.

Sidney S. McMath Library offers patrons thousands of books and audio/visual items. The 10,700 square-feet facility features a children’s area, public meeting rooms and wireless Internet access. The library’s 10-acre site features a boardwalk from John Barrow Road, a walking path, an amphitheater, and a koi pond with an observation pier.
