Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by creating your own Piñata with Native Mexican artisan Araceli Meneses. Free. Registration recommended but not required. Class will be taught in Spanish with a Translator repeating in English. Light refreshments.
For September's 3rd Tuesday Art Night, CALS Brooks Library is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15) with Native Mexican artist Araceli Meneses who will teach participants how to make their own Pinata. Activity is free and all materials provided while supplies last. Pre-registration is encouraged to make sure we have enough supplies on hand.

CALS Brooks Library is located in the City of Wrightsville Community Center in between the City Hall and the Gymnasium. This library branch is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 to 4:30 PM. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month the library stays open until 7PM and hosts an art night with free art supplies for patrons to express their creativity. A Potluck Food Rescue Distribution is held each Tuesday morning at 9:30 am while quantities last. A Be Mighty Food Pantry is located inside the library and a Little Free Pantry is located in the Wrightsville Community Center Park Lot. The Millie Brooks Library Community Garden is located in the city park behind the Community Center. The library has 4 Internet Stations for public use, free wifi, and offers copying, printing, scanning and faxing services. One study room is available for public use on a first come first serve basis. Table Top Games, an early childhood playroom, and a Video Game Room are available during regular library hours.
