In this immersive workshop, we will explore the power of bilateral stimulation through the combined practices of yoga and drawing. Presented by Lo Patt. A physical activity waiver is required to participate.
Bilateral movement—activating both sides of the body rhythmically—can help regulate the nervous system, support emotional processing, and restore balance. When paired with bilateral drawing, which engages both hemispheres of the brain, the result is deeply grounding.
Participants will be guided through gentle yoga sequences, including mirrored and cross-body movements to activate neural pathways, followed by gestural drawing exercises using both hands. These processes support the body's release of stored tension, increased cognitive ability for creating new neural pathways, and activate creative flow. This workshop is trauma-informed, accessible, and welcomes all levels of experience in both art and yoga.
