Join us Friday, January 31st for "A Sentimental Journey with Swing Band Reunion" – A Swinging Night of Jazz, Blues and Pop Treasures, paying tribute to Big Bands, Blues favorites, and well-known pop tunes of 1960s-70s.

Swing Band Reunion was formed in 2000 when members of the 1956 Little Rock Central High School Swing Band reunited, and they have now grown into a 20-piece orchestra. Directed by Steve Travis and featuring vocalists Nan Renaud and Jeff Watson, Swing Band Reunion pays tribute to Big Bands, Blues favorites, and pop tunes of the 1960s-70s. Join us for a night to remember!

ADVANCE TICKETS on sale for $15 through December 31st! Starting January 1st, tickets increase to $20 each.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.

About the branch

The Ron Robinson Theater is a 315-seat multi-purpose event venue. Part of the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) Main Library campus, it is designed to provide programs for all ages including films, music performances, plays, readings, lectures, speakers, and children’s activities. The theater is equipped with a state-of-the-art DCI-compliant Barco digital cinema projection system and 32′ wide retractable screen; and, a versatile sound system capable of Dolby 5.1 surround audio for movies, with a CL3 digital mixing console with ample inputs for traditional music concerts.
